Pirates of Pensacola

Shiver ye timbers this spring Matey, with our crew of scalawags. Starting April Fool’s Day, the Red Trolley sets sail every weekend on the seas of adventure. Our ancient map will guide us to a pirate’s trove of hidden treasure.  Along the way we’ll face rival pirates, find clues, and learn the Secrets of the Seven Seas.

During our voyage, you’ll learn how to tie a proper pirate bandana, wear an eye patch and, aye, a hook. The better you blend in with the pirates, the safer you’ll be. Bring your favorite pirate gear along and come early to get your tattoo applied by a comely pirate lass.  An evening on the high seas would not be complete without traditional pirate fare. Chef Crossbones has prepared a tasty sampler of hard tack, shish kabobs and a rare sea octopus marinated in brine.

Then join our merry crew with Sally Seaweed, Captain Scuttlebutt and Venue the Mermaid as we search for hidden treasure and lift the ancient Spanish curse of Tristan de Tuna. It’s been told that the explorer arrived in Pensacola with a shipment of Aztec gold in 1559. The treasure ship was sent to the bottom by a mighty gale and the dreams of the colony were dashed.  When gold was discovered during the ship’s recent excavation, de Tuna reached back across the centuries to punish the now the thriving town of Pensacola and placed a curse on the Maritime Park. No good can come of the stolen doubloons unless the Pirates of Pensacola come to the rescue.

Our journey of discovery will begin on April 1st.  You can participate in the adventure. Join the merry crew as they search for clues and endeavor to lift the curse of Tristan de Tuna. Book your voyage online at piratetrolley.com.

Oops! Thanks for the heads up! I put the wrong dates on the calendar at http://piratetrolley.com/ . It's all fixed now, and April Fools' Day really is the first tour. All other dates are Fridays starting April 9 and running through June 18.
